Washer-dryer stack
If there is not sufficient space available to install two appliances next to one another, most Miele washing machines and tumble dryers can be conveniently combined as a washer-dryer stack. In this arrangement, the washing machine is always installed under the tumble dryer.
The WhiteEdition appliances are ideal for stacking. The door hinge on the tumble dryers from this range can be changed so that the doors open in the same direction on both appliances.
Miele offers various stacking kits for combining the appliances in a stable manner. Some, e.g. the WTV 512, feature a practical drawer. This drawer is ideal for storing accessories, for example, or for conveniently resting the laundry basket on whilst loading and unloading the tumble dryer.
Technically and visually, Miele washing machines and tumble dryers match each other perfectly. This allows you to install both appliances side by side and easily transfer freshly washed laundry to the tumble dryer.
Installation with plinth
With the plinth (WTS 510), you can increase the appliance height by approx. 30 cm – achieving a convenient working height. This makes operating the machines much more ergonomic and convenient. At the same time, the plinth offers storage space, for example for detergent or a laundry bag, so you can quickly have everything at hand – and have everything quickly tidied away again.
All Miele front loaders can be pushed under a countertop with a minimum niche height of 85 cm. This installation option does not require the appliance lid to be removed.
Can be built-under
Miele ChromeEdition WDA, W 3000 and W 5000 washing machines and TDA and T 8000 tumble dryers with a straight fascia can be built-under. If you replace the appliance lid with a building-under kit, such as UBS W1/G or UBS T1/G, these appliances fit, for example, under a worktop with a niche height of 82 cm.
